Non-figurative, sculptural abstraction. The works are built up layer by layer: From an initial line sketch, elements are cut out of paper and transparent foils, which are then photographed in several levels with deliberate off-focus. The images are digitally processed and printed on Fabriano paper of the highest quality via an advanced 11-color studio print. The analog process is then continued, where the works are added with hand-applied Super Ultra Black, transparent acrylic and gold leaf in 24 and 16 carats respectively. The series is produced in a limited edition of 90 copies – each individually numbered and signed.
