Metastable Assumptions

Unique compositions printed on a vintage Korrex press

Metastable Assumptions is a collection of mixed media and relief works, created and produced in-house at our studio. Each composition is printed on an authentic vintage Korrex press, layer by layer, on exclusive paper from Europe and Japan: Somerset, Awagami, and Fabriano – three layers of refined texture and character, supplemented with hand-cut paper snippets.
Format: 61.5 × 44 cm.

Hand-built frames

Each artwork is mounted in a hand-built wooden frame with museum-quality glass. The frames are produced in our studio-shop and carefully treated with black stain for an elegant, timeless finish.

Limited edition

The collection is released in a limited edition of 20 copies, each numbered, signed by the artist Peter Stoltze, and embossed with the StoltzeStudios’ logo.
